Hello,
I have been using VM95 with my Olympus SP-500 for several months and it has been working great. A few days ago, the upload stopped working and I have been trying to figure out what happened. The computer running VM95 is working OK -- I see the image captured to the VM95 screen every 5 minutes with the correct date/time. When I look at the "inet.log" there are errors as follows:

550 Sorry, but that file doesn't exist

!!Left FTPClnt with recall_internet = 0 at 4/3/2010 at 12:25:23 PM
Just back from ftpclnt at 12:25:24 PM
recall_internet = 0try#1 281 kbytes, elapsed time = ...
Entered FTPClnt VM95# VM95_98e/f ftp#4.86 scene#=2 4/3/2010 ...
Upload error...: Error number 6 occurred Apr 3 ....
Rename file error: Couldn't Rename File Tempfile.tmp

My original FTP issue was resolved months ago (see post):

http://www.evs123.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=696
(but this does not seem related)

I haven't changed anything, I just reboot the computer and camera every few weeks...

The system is not able to ftp/upload the snapshot to the website. Every once in a while I can get it to upload the file, but it has a zero byte size, so it is not a valid file. Not sure why this stopped working, but I would appreciate any feedback. Could one of my ini files been corrupted?

I tried to upload my log & ini files to your site, but I keep getting a message that the "extension ___ is not allowed".

Thanks,
Rob Rutstein

Hi -- is there anyone out there that could possibly help?

I would really appreciate ANY suggestions at this point, as I have tried a few things such as:
- restored the inet.ini and vm.ini files from a working backup copy, restarted system, but no difference.
- the system is still taking a perfect photo every 5 minutes and displaying the photos on the screen in VM95.
- for some reason, FTP fails when it tries to rename the .jpg on the web server, and I end up with the correct image file name of webcam.jpg, but it has a "0" byte count.
- checked the permissions on the web server and the folder permissions are still 0755, nothing changed there.
- I just deleted the image on the web server, and now nothing is copying up to it. The error message log is still the same as in my original post.

Please help!!!

Thanks,
Rob Rutstein
