This was taken with Olympus c-765 camera other night

Any ideas what it is in the sky.??

We stared at it for a while and the only thing we could come up with was a helicopter with a headlight.

How long was the exposure? I count 13 sets of dots so if the plane/copter was flashing 4x rapidly every second It might produce this shot with a 14sec exposure.

Hi

I copied the original photo to another pc and tried to open the exif file,
It tells me none is available.
Is there a way to keep the exif info.

OK was looking in vm95 for exif on/off
found it on camera - now its on

I vote for the helicopter with a pulsing strobe marker light. It's amazing what the long night time exposures will give you.

Mine has captured airplanes with similar results. It has even captued several meteors and also a good pass by the International Space Station.
